I discovered my entrepreneurial passion in his youth when he had to sell fruits at football matches to earn money back home in KZN. I always knew I had to be the boss. When I arrived in  Gauteng, I found a job but started selling various items to supplement my income to support my family at home and support my small family after marriage. The home visit movement was ‘born’ when I worked side door for a PWV metro taxi and got to understand the shuttle business. I was approached by one of the key executives of a big chain warehouse company who needed evening transportation for his employees, I still had a job and took it as a part time job, which meant working day and night with 3 hours of sleep on a good day… This company is still my client today.

 As demand increased, I had to quit my day job to focus on my business, and eventually, using our business tactics, we were able to win more businesses.

As our fleet grew, I realized that there was a need for vehicle maintenance(Autocare and car wash business was born to close this gap), with cars on the roads 7 days a week / 365. During the Covid period when most people had to work from home, and students learn from home, I discovered a gap, people needed desks, and that’s how Mgoza Board, cutting and edging was born. We then added anything wood, to close all consumers requirements gaps regarding this. Mgoza Cutting and Edging provides consumers with an opportunity to submit their own wood requirements, from just cutting and edging, to building any item they require using wood.

 As an entrepreneur, I continue to look for opportunities, what keeps me awake at night is solving problems, finding solutions and implementing them in the best way possible. I am passionate about empowering people and eliminating poverty at all costs.
